Manirang Pass Trek ( Ropa Valley to Mane Village )
Manirang Pass is a high and extremely challenging pass. It connects Kinnaur to Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh. The route from Mane to the pass is fairly straightforward, as it is well-trodden by a number of teams trying to attempt the Manirang peak. If you are well-acclimatized one can reach the base of the pass in a day and cross it on the 2nd day.
Manirang Pass Trek Cost Includes / Excludes
- All arrangements for overnight stays during the trip.
- Camping and Climbing gear.
- All food expenses
- Food will usually consist of morning breakfast, lunch, evening high tea, and dinner.
- All food will be vegetarian.
- Trained and certified guides trained for emergency situations.
- Local guides and workers with in-depth knowledge about the local area.
- One luggage per person will be transported by us.
- Inner line permits and arrangements en route will be arranged by the operator.
- All stays and lodging on a twin sharing basis shall be provided.
- Any kind of personal expenses.
- Camera fees or any other costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances and situations beyond our control.
Daywise Itinerary of Manirang Pass Trek
Took a bus from Mud village to Mane village. Trekked to Manirang Base camp near Mor Nala (a stream or rivulet). Coordinates (lat 31.97792N, long 78.31715E).
Trekked from Mor Nala Basecamp to Manirang Pass High Camp (lat 31.94433N, long 78.35008E) and camped just below Manirang Pass @ 5456M.
As per Himachal Pradesh Miscellaneous Adventure Activities Rules, 2017 any trekking activity in the district has to be carried out with prior permission from the tourism office and camping permission of the trek is to be obtained from the forest department.
